The Perfect Makeup Look For Virgo Season

Virgo Season holds a very special place in my heart. My grandmother, mother, daughter and I are all Virgos, and half of our team are Virgos as well. That’s why for 2021’s Virgo Season, we decided to celebrate by hosting a site-wide promotion, offering a 15% discount on all products in the month of September.

Virgos love to strike a strong balance; that’s why I surround myself with people who inspire me to achieve my goals while keeping me grounded, understanding where I have room for growth. It is extremely fitting that thirteen years ago I met Ashlee Glazer. True to both of our Virgo and Libra signs, we have an appreciation for aesthetic and loyalty. We attended makeup school together at the Makeup Designory of New York, and have remained close friends ever since. Her passion for makeup and beauty was awe-inspiring, and since she was already established as a makeup artist, whereas I was purely self-taught at the time, I was inspired to achieve her level of mastery.

Way back when, we talked of our dreams of becoming celebrity makeup artists, painting bride’s faces on their big days, dabbling in TV, and even starting brands. We both agreed that later in our careers, we wanted to teach our own classes to educate new makeup artists the way we learned at The Makeup Designory. To date, Ashlee has been the Makeup Artist Director of Laura Gellar, a brand ambassador for Smith + Cult, and has a booming bridal business. She’s also appeared on numerous television shows including The Today Show, Wendy Williams, and more. She also has longtime loyal celebrity clients such as Georgina Chapman, Zanna Rassi, and Rachel Zoe.

To my pleasure as a Virgo and a fashion lover, during the Virgo new moon and the start of NYFW, Ashlee hosted a makeup master class featuring our products at The Allure Store to teach her and our Instagram followers how to transition their Summer beauty routines into Fall. She chose to do an easy-to-recreate hydrated look using natural colors and dewy formulas, and she did not disappoint.
